The Japanese American Jewish...and it AIN'T THE WORD JAP!!!!!

The last thing I want to be is an antisemitic. I am not an antisemitic, because the Jews are by far, more civil than the Christians. But I do not like the leadership in Israel screwing with the Palestinians and using their religion to mask their racism.

I lived in East Los Angeles all my life. And the only thing I knew about Jews was: They were screwed by Hitler. That's it. Also, I saw the Hiding Place and it portrayed the life of Corrie Ten Boom, a Dutch Christian Holocaust survivor. I then was transplanted to Portola Jr. High (Middle School) and met a school full of Jews. No, none of them wore a Yarmulke, but they looked a lot like me, minus the skin color. They were nice people and I became friends with them and I did a few not-so-nice thing (NO I DID NOT HURT THEM!!!!)...lets say, I dated a few of them nice Jewish girls...then I got a lesson about kosher. None of them were kosher, they ate the same garbage I did too. They couldn't care less about their religion. I also had friends who had their bar mitzvah. They asked if I wanted to attended and I said no. I live too far...I WAS ONLY 13! These were good people and I keep in touch with them.

Then I got older. I've seen on the news how the white supremacist (today's teabaggers?) were assaulting them, calling them names and vandalizing temples and schools. I was appalled. Why? Because they weren't southern baptists? I know southern baptists who were treated like crap by the white supremacist groups. It wasn't religion.

Idealism.

Maybe I thought but there was something more. Living in Los Angeles and Hollywood being a part of Los Angeles, I kept hearing about how the Jews owned: banks, Hollywood, entertainment centers, media and so forth. I then found out that MGM Metro Goldwyn Mayer and Warner Bros. were Jewish. And the ONLY hire Jews and promote their Jewish agenda. Bugs Bunny is a Jewish agenda? It made no sense. Whatsoever. Then fast forward to 2000 C.E. I heard of this thing called Zionism. Zionism according to Wikipedia states:

Zionism is primarily a nationalist[1] or national liberation[2] Jewish political movement that, in its broadest sense, has supported the self-determination of the Jewish people in a sovereign Jewish national homeland.[3] Since the establishment of the State of Israel, the Zionist movement continues primarily to advocate on behalf of the Jewish state and address threats to its continued existence and security. In a less common usage, the term may also refer to 1) non-political, Cultural Zionism, founded and represented most prominently by Ahad Ha'am; and 2) political support for the State of Israel by non-Jews, as in Christian Zionism.
Sounds like them Christian evangelists and a pretty raunchy group of people, all in the name of religion. That is until Donna Halper, the woman responsible for the BAND Rush told me that there are other forms of Zionism, and not all Zionists are conservative:

Zionism does not have a uniform ideology, but has evolved in a dialogue among a plethora of ideologies: General Zionism, Religious Zionism, Labor Zionism, Revisionist Zionism, Green Zionism, etc. However, the common denominator among all Zionists is the claim to Eretz Israel as the national homeland of the Jews and as the legitimate focus for the Jewish national self-determination (as shown, among others, by Gideon Shimoni).[4] It is based on historical ties and religious traditions linking the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.[5]
Pretty liberal for an organization for which many people, including some Jews voice their opinion against. There are rumors that the Rothschild  family funded Hitler's war. How true that is I do not know, but worth looking into. And was part of the Transfer Agreement. But who knows? I mean our former president's Father and grandfather supported Adolf Hitler. But with all thios, does that mean that Jews are evil? Uh no. Actually, the Jewish people in Europe are indebted to Japanese Americans.

Oral Histories from the Go For Broke Educational Foundation
The Museum of Tolerance in partnership with the Go For Broke Educational Foundation presents oral histories from members of the Japanese American 522nd Field Artillery Battalion in the United States Army. A selection of video interviews with veterans of the 522nd provide personal accounts of the liberation of the sub-camps of the Dachau concentration camp complex in Germany.

522nd Field Artillery Battalion

(Presented in partnership with the Go For Broke Educational Foundation through a grant from the California Civil Liberties Public Education Program.)

522nd soldiers with liberated Dachau survivors
The Japanese American 522nd Field Artillery Battalion was one of the driving forces that helped to liberate Jewish survivors of the Landsberg-Kaufering Dachau Death March and Dachau sub-camps. It was also one of the first allied troops to help liberate the Dachau sub-camps and the only Japanese American combat unit to fight on German soil. The irony of the 522nd's encounter with the Dachau inmates was that many 522nd soldiers and/or their family members were also incarcerated in segregated camps in their home country during the war.

The 522nd was activated on February 1, 1943 in Camp Shelby, Mississippi. The 522nd earned the reputation as one of the fastest, most efficient artillery units in the European Theater operations in World War II. The artillery provided valuable support fire for the Japanese American 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team.

Joseph Ichiuji, a 522nd veteran, said, "Whereas the American camps were for the duration of the war, the German camps were for the extermination of the Jewish race. Yet, the reasons behind these acts are the same and that is the singling out a race through acts of racial prejudice."
So what does that mean? They liberated one of the camps? Think for a second Republican teabaggers. Americans of Japanese ancestry were placed in a concentration camp. So were the Jews. Yes the Japanese Americans were not gassed or hanged, but they were placed into concentration camps. They liberated the Jews, but could not liberate their own family. It was the Christians who screwed with my people but the Jews who supported, welcomed and opened their homes to my relatives and people.

A good Christian woman

Yet the Jews were grateful. So I am not an antisemitic, because my dad's dead cousin and uncles who fought the Nazis in the 442nd would disown me. But the issue I have are the AIPAC: American Israel Public Affairs Committee. They would sell their people out to get their agenda across, much like Roosevelt did in the past. But does that mean to be antisemitic? No. Does that mean to succumb to the right? No.But if an organization is willing to kill the lives of innocent people should we then NOT typecast them as Reichwinged fascist?

Jan Brewer hates Americans!

Pretty powerful comment for a woman who hates illegal immigrants and undocumented workers, but hear me out. We all know that she wants to deport every last Mexican: undocumented, documented, legal and citizen out of Arizona. Her accusation of headless corpse in the Arizona desert was blown out of the water by her own employees: Arizona coroner's office, so what now? Well it seems that Jan Brewer has a vested interest in the immigration issue than she does with U.S. citizens.

I was appalled by this story. Let me introduce to you Arizona's U.S. citizen:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/03/us/03transplant.html?_r=1&ref=us
 And
 http://community.nytimes.com/comments/www.nytimes.com/2010/12/03/us/03transplant.html

Francisco Felix, 32, a father of four who has hepatitis C and is in need of a liver, received news a few weeks ago that a family friend was dying and wanted to donate her liver to him. But the budget cuts meant he no longer qualified for a state-financed transplant.

He was prepared anyway at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center as his relatives scrambled to raise the needed $200,000. When the money did not come through, the liver went to someone else on the transplant list
Randy Shepherd, who needs a heart transplant, showed scars from an earlier operation. He hopes a decision is reversed.
Neither of these folks are: illegals, undocumented nor undesirable. They are hard-working family men. But Jan Brewer seems to have an interest in spending the stimulus money she didn't want:

...Advocates have called on Governor Brewer to use some of the state’s $185 million in federal stimulus funds to restart the procedures. Brewer, who opposed the stimulus, says all the money is gravely needed for other projects. Which she will not name.
But she's willing to house, feed, clothe, give free medical, dental, and so forth to undocumented workers than pay to have U.S.citizens in AZ cured of their ailments? Jan was against the Obama stimulus money, so why not use it on U.S. citizens? Because she does not care about U.S. citizens

A little humor

Here's a smile coming your way!

Life really boils down to 2 questions...

1. Should I get a dog.....?

OR...

2. Should I have children?

No  matter what situations life throws at  you...

No  matter how long and treacherous your journey may seem..

Remember  there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

You're laughing aren't you?
That's good 'cause my job here is  done!

Have a great day and remember to give thanks....

Cats are so dramatic!!

Religion stems from culture not the other way around

Behold, 15 er 10 Commandments:

The 10 commandments come from Exodus 20:1-17.
And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
  1. You shall have no other gods before me.

  2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

  5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

  6. You shall not murder.

  7. You shall not commit adultery.

  8. You shall not steal.

  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
When you look at these, the ONLY commandments I follow are: five through nine.

5) I love my parents
6) Murder or in the King James Bible Kill is against the law
7) I will not commit adultery if I am married. It's breaking the marriage contract
8) I will not steal, I am not a REPUBLICAN!
9) I will not lie. I am not a REPUBLICAN!

Commandment one through four is a religious requirement not a criminal nor civil offense. Ten is just plain sexist: You shall not covet your neighbor’s house nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor his wife? Why is a woman an object and not a human being? Keep in mind, this is Judeo Christian belief the religious nutcases want us to worship. Including 1-4 and 10.

So breaking these commandments, you are committing a sin.

noun
1.
transgression of divine law: the sin of Adam.
2.
any act regarded as such a transgression, esp. a willful or deliberate violation of some religious or moral principle.
3.
any reprehensible or regrettable action, behavior, lapse, etc.; great fault or offense: It's a sin to waste time.
In Greek, Sin means to miss the mark. So in all intent and purpose, if you are into archery and you miss the 10 ring, you have sinned. So what is the wages of sin?

New International Version (©1984)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Then we compare this to

Sharia Law

Laws and practices under Sharia
Marriage laws
The Muslim man who is not currently a fornicator can only marry a Muslim woman who is not currently a fornicatress or a chaste woman from the people of the book.
The Muslim fornicator can only marry Muslim fornicatress.
The number of wives is limited to four, – Mohammed married 15 women and consummated his marriages with 13. (al-Tabari vol.9 p.126-127)
The Muslim woman who is not currently a fornicatress can only marry a Muslim man who is not currently a fornicator.
The Muslim fornicatress can only marry a Muslim fornicator.
The woman cannot marry without the consent of her guardian. If she marries, her husband becomes her new guardian.
The guardian may choose to marry the virgin without asking her consent, however she can oppose the marriage and then it is cancelled.
The guardian cannot marry the divorced woman or the widow if she didn't ask to be married.
The number of husbands is limited to one, the Muslim mistress cannot have sex with her slaves.
Islamic law on marriage differs from one school of thought to another.

Divorce laws
A husband may divorce his wife whenever he wants. If the marriage has been consummated, the divorced woman must remain at her ex-husband's house for three months before she is allowed to leave. The man has the ability to retract the divorce by having sex with the woman within those three months.
A woman who wishes to be divorced needs the consent of her husband. If he consents she has to pay back the dowry. Under certain circumstances (abuse, for instance), the wife may ask a judge to separate the couple.
If a man divorces his wife three times, he can no longer marry her again unless she marries another man and then divorces him. These are guidelines; Islamic law on divorce is different depending on the school of thought.

The penalty for theft
In accordance with the Qur'an and several hadith, theft is punished by imprisonment or amputation of hands or feet, depending on the number of times it was committed.

The penalty for adultery
Main article: Stoning to Death in Islam
In accordance with hadith, stoning to death is the penalty for married men and women who commit adultery.[4] For unmarried men and women, the punishment prescribed in the Qur'an and hadith is 100 lashes.

Dietary laws
Main article: Islamic dietary laws
Sharia dictates that Muslims may only eat from meat that has been slaughtered in the name of God and meets stringent dietary requirements. Such meat is called halal, or "lawful". Islamic law prohibits a Muslim from eating pork, and most juridical opinions also hold monkey, dog, cat, carnivores and several other types of animal as haram (prohibited). For the meat of an animal to be halal it must be one of the declared halal species, and the animal may not be killed by excessively cruel or painful means. The traditional means of slaughter is by slicing open the jugular veins at the neck, resulting in quick blood loss; a state of shock and unconsciousness is induced, and death soon follows through cardiac arrest.
According to the Qur'an, the animal does not have to be slaughtered by a Muslim, but may be slaughtered by a Jew or a Christian (People of the Book) as long as it meets their strict dietary laws. This does not normally apply in modern times as animals are normally not slaughtered by Christians in the name of God. The majority of Christians no longer have rituals associated with slaughter, nor do they ask for God's permission before the kill. The method of slaughter used by most Christian butchers is also considered inappropriate by many Muslims. (Al-Ma'ida 5: "The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you.")- this is only provided it is killed in accordance with God's Law, and in His name. Most Muslims will accept kosher meat as halal. (Qur'an 2:173, 6:121)

The role of women under Sharia
Main article: women in Islam
Islam does not prohibit women from working, but emphasizes the importance of housekeeping and caring for the families of both parents. In theory, Sunni Islamic law allows husbands to divorce their wives at will, by clearly saying talaq ("I divorce you"). The divorce becomes permanent if the couple has been divorced three times. Women do not have the same right to divorce. In Shi'a Islam, divorce is more involved than this and state proceedings vary. In 2003, for example, a Malaysian court ruled that, under Sharia law, a man may divorce his wife via text messaging as long as the message was clear and unequivocal. [8] Such a divorce, known as the "triple talaq" is not allowed in most Muslim states. The divorced wife always keeps her dowry from when she was married, and is given child support until the age of weaning, at which point the child may be returned to its father if it is deemed to be best.
Islam has no clergy, but women may become religious scholars. In practice, it is much more common for men to be scholars than women. Many interpretations of Islamic law hold that women may not have prominent jobs, and thus are forbidden from working in the government. This has been a mainstream view in many Muslim nations in the last century, despite the example of Muhammad's wife Aisha, who both took part in politics[citation needed] and was a major authority on hadith.
A Muslim may not marry or remain married to an unbeliever of either sex (2:221, 60:10). A Muslim man may marry a woman of the People of the Book (5:5); traditionally, however, Islamic law forbids a Muslim woman from marrying a non-Muslim man unless he converts to Islam
Again, death is the punishment for violating religious laws. Gawd this is so barbaric! On the other, if you steal, lie, murder, rape, or commit other offenses, you go to prison. At least you're still alive to say work on a fire line or make license plates or learn a trade or yes, an education. Yet what blew my mind away was Canada's discussion about implementing Sharia law...huh? You know, the same country that has single payer health wants Sharia law?

‘One law for all Ontarians’

Five years ago, Premier Dalton McGuinty announced, “There will be no sharia law in Ontario. There will be no religious arbitration in Ontario. There will be one law for all Ontarians.”

The premier was referring to the fact that since 1991, arbitration decisions made according to religious laws were enforceable in Ontario courts, and he was now going to rescind the law that made this possible.

McGuinty’s declaration ended a heated 20-month controversy sparked by Toronto lawyer Syed Mumtaz Ali’s 2004 announcement that an “Islamic Institute of Civil Justice” would shortly begin arbitrating family matters on the basis of sharia law, accompanied by a warning that Muslims who did not submit cases to Islamic arbitration panels were not “good Muslims.”
Huh? I am a Christian atheist. I do not worship the religion but God and Jesus. With that said, I do NOT  push my belief nor do I want the laws written in the Bible for Jews and Gentile who choose to follow, applied on non-Christians or atheists. The no duh commandments are penal codes in my state: murder 187 P.C., robbery: 211 P.C., Burglary: 459 P.C. Rape: 261 P.C. should be the extent of the religious tenets that should be applied evenly. Not stoning or killing someone who lusts on a man or woman. The Bible or Quran should arguably be laws pertaining to only to people who believe in the religious mumbo-jumbo and not to non-believers.

And sadder still are people who purposely or accidentally combine culture and religion together. In Africa, the pyramids of Giza are beautiful. The Egyptians were the first astronomers. They also gave us geometry...(grrr). In Iraq, Afghanistan or Iran, these countries gave us the rugs, ceramics and other cultural programs. Prior to the overthrow of Mohammad Mossadeq, beauty was coming from this part of Asia. Sure they had their religious short-falls, but with overthrows, coup and the U.S. involvement in the western part of the Asian continent, all this had gone. So what's left? religious oppression that has nothing to do with culture and identity, but a way to suppress the arts and beauty beyond the church, temple or mosques.

Religion created this mess and not the culture.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt: Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy

Let it sink into your mind before you come to any conclusion, and who did it affect the most? Let me rephrase the question, who shouldn't it have affected? I have an answer to that...on December 7, 2010

Too Young to Retire. Too old to work

As I sit here and ponder, cigarette in my mouth, unlit, fingers to the keyboard, and at age 44, will I be able to work? According to Title VII, I cannot be discriminated because I am in the protected class. I am older than 35 years old (I think that's under T-7) and I am of Japanese ancestry. But with the destruction of our country by Reagan's trickle-down economics and Bush's tax cuts and everything in between, there need not be a reason to say: I am not hiring you because you are Asian or older than 35, I am not hiring you because there are no position  open. Why? Because people older than me are remaining in their jobs. They don't dare retire so early and I can;t join the military because I AM TOO OLD! not that I would but what about what Thom Hartmann recommended?

Lower the retirement age to 55 years old. What? Kick people out of work (no forget completing this comment, you're all liberals). The idea of retiring folks at 55 would make a lot of sense. So when workers can actually enjoy their retirement, they could travel and spend their hard-earned money to rebuild the economy. In business/economic classes, why do you spend money? To get the latest fad? To keep up with the Jones'? No. You spend money so that corporations can be bailed out. To keep the economy stimulated. So dropping the age of retirement to 55, families and friends can travel all around the U.S. and stimulate the local economy. Ain't that a hoot. But then teabaggers (like the ones in Kentucky) may wonder where will we get the money to to this? The wealthy. When you make more than $106.000 a year, there is a cap. If you remove the cap, you remove the problems relating to the social security problem...the fear of running out???

As you can see, the same morons who are in line demanding their money the Republicans want to cut, so they could give their hard-earned money to the corporations like the Koch Brothers are getting what they voted for.
http://i.huffpost.com/gen/223285/thumbs/s-UNEMPLOYMENT-OFFICE-large.jpg

No money. And after voting for Rand Paul who said he wants to cut government waste may mean social programs. There was also the mention of the military, but why would Paul want to cut funding to Raytheon, Halliburton, Blackwater and other defense contractors who may have donated to his campaign? Did you ever think that he may cut the V.A.? If the Republicans are willing to cut the throats of their own constituents, what makes you think they would give a damn about vets outside of Kentucky?

They don't. And the Kentuckians above realized it...unless they'll believe the garbage that the Reichwing will put out that it is Obama's and the Democratic party's fault. And will the Democrats fight back?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA/ Stop making me luagh

Thanks for responding to Mike Malloy!

I want to thank you for becoming a friend and I hope you enjoy my left-leaning-socialist-liberal blog. There will be times I am going to get pissed and rant so I hope you do not get upset, because, I speak my mind. There may be times when I may conflict with Democrats, but please feel free to call me a revisionist. I will respond ;)

Thank you again too!
