Pot Calling the Kettle Black?

Blue is right! We are apathetic! We are impotent! We are lazy because we are not out in force trying to stop these oppressors around the world, and now Egypt from exploiting the poor people! But my question to Blue or to the people who accuse us of being so darned uncaring, who sent these occupier to work in Egypt in the first place? The same people who are helping the exploiters escape the wrath of the angry masses...pilots.

Think for a second. As author Jeremy Rifkin once asked, what was the greatest man-made invention from the last 100 years or so that helped create this global economy?

Speed.

More than 100 years, boats traveled at one speed. Going from Europe to America or from Asia to America took months and even with the best sails in the world, the captains were at the mercy of mother nature. Yet when man created speed, going from point A to B at a shorter time allowed for corporations to profit. If Columbus had a 747, going from the Caribbean to Britain would have not been a chore. No scurvy, no illnesses, no homesickness to stifle growth. So when the jet was created, instead of being at the mercy of the sea, exploitation was made easier. And if the exploiter had to boogie, 500 miles an hour out of Egypt International would be ideal.

Still, it makes you wonder, if you committed a bank robbery and you drove the getaway car, how long would you get? 25 to life probably and if the actual robber killed someone, the driver would be charged for murder. So my question is would then pilots like Blue who are helping the poor workers out of Egypt, be an accessory to crimes against a human race? No? I guess not, the train engineer who took the Jews in the boxcars to the gas chambers were not charged for war crimes. Or were they???
