Imagine this

You are in the safety of your bedroom. Reading a book or drawing. Your family life isn't all that swell, but your imagination allows you to escape. Your uncle is over while your parent(s) work to give you a decent life. He stays over so that you remain safe from the outside. As you lie down to sleep, you are jostled awake by someone. It's your uncle. He sits next to you and ask how you are. You tell him you are tired. After some small talk, he removes your blanket, climbs inside and rapes you. Ashamed and frightened, you say nothing. This happens for several nights for a few months. You draw up the courage and tell your parents. Your parents believe you and have the uncle arrested for rape. The monster gets 25 to life with the possibility of parole. But then there is a problem. For two months, you did not menstruate. Being 13, you're confused. So you go to a Planned Parenthood and find out you are pregnant. With the monster in prison, you want the poison inside you gone. Then you go through counseling, and have an abortion. After going through further counseling, your life is much better and you are an enrepreneur contributing to society.

This is the typical scenario when a niece, daughter or sister is raped. Her options to either keep, adopt away or abort the fetus is there. But now the Republicans want to end funding abortion. According to Mother Jones:

For years, federal laws restricting the use of government funds to pay for abortions have included exemptions for pregnancies resulting from rape or incest. (Another exemption covers pregnancies that could endanger the life of the woman.) But the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act," a bill with 173 mostly Republican co-sponsors that House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has dubbed a top priority in the new Congress, contains a provision that would rewrite the rules to limit drastically the definition of rape and incest in these cases
I wonder if the idea to defund federal funds for victims of incest twofold? One to reward their corporate buddies and two, to make sure that the little girls they rape can have a legacy of their power? What do I mean?

STOP REPUBLICAN PEDOPHILIA

  • Republican aide, Alan David Berlin, was arrested on charges that he wanted to engage in sex acts with a 15 year old boy while dressed in a panda costume.

  • Fox News producer Aaron Bruns pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years for possessing child pornography.

  • Republican activist and former presidential campaign chairman Jeffrey Claude Bartleson was arrested on charges of sexually molesting a 5-year old boy.

  • Republican activist and former chairman of the Christian County Republicans Royce Fessenden pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree child molestation and one count of second-degree statutory sodomy.

This is the legacy the Republicans seem to be proud of. Imagine your little girl, niece or sister is impregnated by an uncle or father and the Republicans would rather give your tax money to the Koch Bros than to remove that little monster stealing from her soul? But to prove that Republicans hate women and girls, ask them if abortion is illegal, would they increase taxes to support CHIP?

Why am I hearing laughter?
